Marco Rosetti
BIOGRAPHY
He graduated at the Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena (USA) and at the “A. Buzzolla” Conservatory of Music of Adria, where he studies guitar and composition. He will then obtain the Master Degree and the II level Master in Film Music Composition at the “Venezze” Conservatory of Music in Rovigo under the guidance of Marco Biscarini. Parallel to his path as a guitarist, he worked as a composer, immediately appearing on the US market; in 2008 his piece for solo piano Reminiscenza di Tosca was played at Carnegie Hall in New York by pianist Nazzareno Carusi for the Puccini Intimately Festival. He also orchestrates Tim Young’s musical Anthropomprphic, presented at the Leslie-Lohan Museum on Broadway.
During his professional activity in New York he produced sonorizations for STUFF (Stand Up For Fashion), working with Yomi Abiola (Maybelline New York, The FemLeague) and the Italian Academy Fundation. He wrote music for trailers (Doctor Who, Krampus, The turning point, Officer down, Sacrifice), films (Heart beats, At your disposal, Unavailable, You’ve got text, Snot and Splash), documentaries (My soul paws, Engine of creation, The road that enchants) for History Channel, TV commercials (Huawei P8, Malo Cashmere, Nivea) and radioplay (BFF). He takes care of the sonorizations, for CELS Grup, of the Doha Fashion Week in Qatar.
He won several awards for the best soundtrack including the Indie Gathering Award (2015), the Horror Hotel film scoring competition (in 2015 and 2016) and, with the film You’ve got text, the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival in 2020.
In his Los Angeles work experience, he orchestrated his second musical Eve – The Musical, written and produced by Lauri Matisse. In 2021 represents DeltaSound at the Regards Croisès cine-concert at the Festival International du film d’Aubagne, in France, with the soundtrack of Untravel (by Ana Nedeljkovic). In 2022 he composed and orchestrated the arias of the opera Flat Land (by A. Virarelli and V. Soravia) and worked on the tv serie The Good Mothers, produced by Disney+.
He teaches composition and orchestration at the “Venezze” Conservatory of Music (Italy) and at the Audio Production Academy in Stockholm (Sweden).
