BIOGRAPHY
I’m Matteo Santini, a musician with a deep passion for crafting soundscapes that resonate across films, documentaries, commercials, and beyond. Hailing from Fano, Italy, my musical journey is defined by a versatile expertise in both the piano and accordion, embracing genres as diverse as classical, jazz, ethnic, pop, and gypsy. Whether I’m performing solo or as part of various ensembles, my aim is to transcend boundaries and invite my audience into a rich auditory experience.
My path in music has been shaped by rigorous formal education and a commitment to
lifelong learning. I studied piano and composition at the esteemed “G.B. Martini” Conservatory in Bologna, and I furthered my expertise with a Master’s degree in Film Scoring Composition at the “F. Venezze” Conservatory in Rovigo, under the guidance of the esteemed Maestro Marco Biscarini.
Beyond my performances, I am deeply invested in the dissemination of music education
and the craft of music composition and sound design.
I also extend my creativity to producing music and sound-design for film, documentaries, spots and theatrical performances, adding depth and emotion to narratives through sound.
At last, I’m convinced that music is a sound voyage where each note is a story, and artistry meets innovation at every turn. I like music because it gives voice to what cannot speak.
